Originally designed by the California Lottery , this game show was a short lived extension of the lotto, in which players who won a trip to the game show had the chance to compete in mini-games to win money for themselves and their fellow lottery players.

We're trying to adapt a few of these mini games for 1 player games, and have had success with a couple:

COMMUNITY CHEST

ELECTRIC COMPANY

HOTEL PARKING

RIDE THE RAILS

And we're working on a few of the others (Block Party, On the Boardwalk), but it may take some time to work out the technical/programming issues.

GAME RULES

Rules for the Games vary by which mini-game is being played:

  • COMMUNITY CHEST

Community Chest works in a similar fashion to Deal or No Deal.    However, rather than holding on to a single case out of 25, you select one of any 10 cases.      That case will have some number (out of 10 possible amounts) of "whammies" (Our point system) in it.

We will then double the whammies in each remaining case.

You may then either stop, and claim your prize level based on the whammies or you may continue by picking another chest.

However, if you pick a chest that has FEWER whammies than your previous pick, you lose all your whammies and the game officially ends.

  • ELECTRIC COMPANY

10 switches, each of which can light up to 10 light bulbs (with no duplicates).   The goal of the player is to light up to 24 of the 25 light bulbs without lighting that 25th lightbulb.

  • RIDE THE RAILS

Still under production.  10 trains each of which pulls 1 to 10 cars and 1 caboose.  You bet how many cars are attached to the train.  If there are more cars than your bet, you keep your bet.. but if there are fewer cars than you lose all the points that could be earned for this train.
